1. Business Identity & Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of https://oneepos.uk/ and the purchase of EPOS hardware, point-of-sale software subscriptions, and support services provided by One EPOS (“the Business”). By accessing this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms in full.
2. Quotations and Ordering
- All orders placed via the website or through direct sales representatives constitute an offer to purchase.
- Contracts are formed only upon written order confirmation or invoice issuance by One EPOS.
- Prices displayed on the website are in British Pounds (GBP) and exclusive of VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise.
3. Delivery & Hardware Risk
- Delivery dates are estimates provided in good faith. One EPOS is not liable for indirect loss caused by courier delays.
- Risk of damage or loss of hardware passes to the buyer upon successful physical delivery to the agreed business address.
4. Software Licensing & EPOS Subscriptions
- Software components supplied by One EPOS are provided under a non-exclusive, non-transferable revocable license.
- Monthly or annual EPOS software subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled in writing 30 days prior to the billing cycle.
5. Cancellation & Returns (B2B Sales)
- Business-to-Business (B2B) Exemption: Orders fulfilled for commercial use are governed by B2B commercial terms. Standard consumer distance selling regulations (such as statutory 14-day cooling-off periods) do not automatically apply to commercial transactions.
- Custom-configured EPOS hardware or integrated software setups are non-refundable once dispatched or activated, unless defective under warranty.
6. Hardware Warranties
- Hardware items carry a standard manufacturer warranty or One EPOS depot warranty as specified in your purchase agreement.
- Warranties cover manufacturing faults and component failures. They do not cover liquid damage, physical abuse, unauthorized alterations, or power surge damage.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law:
- One EPOS shall not be liable for business interruptions, loss of revenue, loss of data, or indirect consequential damages arising from hardware downtime or software failure.
- Our maximum cumulative liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on https://oneepos.uk/—including text, graphics, logos, product descriptions, software interface elements, and branding—is the intellectual property of One EPOS and protected under UK and international copyright laws.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
